Scope of Services
Our role is to provide regulatory compliance consulting related to the ordering, handling, storage, administration, shipping, and documentation of compounded and controlled substances in exotic wildlife medicine. We assist clients in understanding requirements from federal agencies (including DEA, FDA, NABP) and state regulatory authorities (including veterinary boards, pharmacy boards, and wildlife agencies).

- All services are provided for compliance support and educational purposes only.
- We do not provide legal advice or veterinary/medical advice. Clients are responsible for seeking independent legal counsel or veterinary direction where required.
- Regulatory Interpretations
- Regulations may change, and agencies may interpret or enforce rules differently.
- We are not liable for differences between our guidance and a regulatory body’s subsequent interpretation, enforcement action, or audit finding.
- Client Responsibility
- Clients remain solely responsible for:
- Obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, and registrations.
- Ensuring prescribing and administration of controlled substances is performed by properly licensed veterinarians.
- Adhering to chain-of-custody and recordkeeping requirements.
- Our consulting services do not transfer regulatory responsibility from the client to us.
- No Guarantee of Outcome
- While we provide best practices and compliance strategies, we cannot guarantee a particular regulatory outcome, such as avoiding audits, penalties, or enforcement actions.
- We disclaim liability for any loss, fine, penalty, or adverse regulatory action taken against the client.
- Field Use Risks
- We do not assume responsibility for accidents, injuries, animal welfare outcomes, or misuse of medications during field sedation, capture, or transport.
- The veterinarian of record is legally responsible for drug administration and animal care.
- Limitation of Damages
- In the event liability is established, our responsibility is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific consulting services rendered.

By engaging our services, clients acknowledge that:
- They retain full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Our role is advisory and supportive, not authoritative or substitutive for agency approval.
- They will not rely solely on our advice for legal or medical decisions without consulting appropriate licensed professionals.
